Revitalizing the Battelle Library: Planning & Implementing Change
Battelle is the world’s largest nonprofit research and development organization, with over 22,000 employees at more than 60 locations globally. Every day, the people of Battelle apply science and technology to solving what matters most. Battelle’s own mission includes a strong charitable commitment to community development and education, including STEM education programs, and philanthropic projects in the communities we serve. Three BMI Librarians will present a program about their efforts to change the paradigm and practice at the Battelle Library.
Amy McCoy, MLIS/MA, is the Team Lead as well as the Marketing & Outreach Librarian. She manages library operations, outreach and marketing, research and reference, instruction, web site, and systems.
Carmen Byg, MLIS, is the Electronic Resources Librarian. Her responsibilities include, acquisitions, budget management, license negotiation, managing the discovery layer, and research.
Abigail Goehring, MLIS, is the Collections and Access Librarian. She is responsible for document delivery, interlibrary loan, catalog maintenance, collection development, internal cost management, and research.
