Call for Nomination for SIG-DL 2018-19 Election

SIG-DL is seeking nominations for the below 2018-2019 positions by Monday, October 22nd.

  • Chair-elect
  • Secretary /Treasurer
  • Communications Officer
  • Webmaster
  • Webinars Committee Convener

Current SIG-DL members in good standing are eligible to nominate, vote for, or serve office. Current officers are eligible to run for re-election in their current positions or in any other open positions.

Submit nominations / self-nominations using this online form (https://goo.gl/forms/k9giUxZGZkMhsfs33) by Monday, October 22nd – Extended deadline – Sunday, October 28.

Nominations must include the following information:

  1. Full contact information of Candidate (Name, Professional Title, Organization, email)
  2. Short biographical statement
  3. Brief description of the candidate’s qualifications for the position.

The election will occur online from Friday, October 5th to Monday, October 22nd, 2018.

Elected officers *must attend* the SIGDL Business Meeting virtually or in-person which occurs during the 2018 ASIS&T Annual Meeting. Elected officers will be expected to actively participate in virtual meetings throughout the upcoming 2018-2019 year.

SIG-DL conducts elections before the annual meeting to comply with our bylaws and to ensure a productive planning meeting in Baltimore, Maryland. Details on the electronic voting procedure will be distributed along with the election materials once the nomination period expires.
