ASIS&T Statement on Ukraine

The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and our professional colleagues in Ukraine, and denounces the use of false and misleading information (disinformation) as a weapon in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. As the preeminent global voice of information science and technology research and its implications for practice,ASIS&T encourages its members and others to continue to seek means to identify, counter and dispel disinformation, whether promulgated by the media or other political actors throughout the world.  We encourage ASIS&T members around the globe to reach out and provide support to information professionals affected by the conflict directly or indirectly.
