ROB KLING CENTER FOR SOCIAL INFORMATICS STUDENT RESEARCH GRANT
The Rob Kling Center for Social Informatics is pleased to announce the 2016 Student Research Grant. This fellowship of $1,500 will be used to support a doctoral student at Indiana University, Bloomington who is studying the ways computerization, the Internet, or digital media interact with people, organizations, or society.
Applicants must submit a brief statement (up to four pages) describing their research and how they would use the fellowship, copy of their transcript, CV, and one letter of reference. Students should also provide a cover sheet with the following information:
• name
• contact information including email
• school/dept./program affiliation
• year in program
• name and contact information of the letter writer.
Preference will be given to students conducting dissertation research, including exploratory research, that begins in spring or summer 2016.
Email your completed application as one pdf file to Kiotta Marshall (kiomarsh@indiana.edu) by Friday March 11, 2016. Recommendation letters should be sent separately. The Rob Kling Social Informatics Fellowship Committee will consider only complete applications.
