The ASIS&T special interest group for social media (SIG SM) is organizing a science slam for the virtual ASIS&T annual meeting UnCommon Sessions. 

If you are interested in becoming one of our slammers and want to impress our audience with a creative seven minute presentation, we look forward to receiving your submission! 

Submission should focus on topics in the field of social media.

Hurry up, pitch spots are limited and highly requested. 

The winner will receive a prize worth $100.

Requirements:
You need to be a registered participant for the ASIS&T AM 2020.

Submission:

  • Required: 1 page abstract 
  • Optional: 30 – 60 sec. video (e.g., impressions of your “catchy” presentation phrases and skills)

Deadline:

September 22nd, 2020 11:59 p.m. Eastern American Time Zone
